Running a sewage treatment plant is an expensive undertaking:

1- Cost of building plant

2- Cost of energy - reducing Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) in the aeration basin (secondary treatment)

 

Using Freebac considerable savings can be made in:

1- size of sewage treatment plant

2- cost of energy - a 1 MegaWatt saving is quite realistic

 

THE REASON:

By dosing FREEBAC you will obtain a:

Ü Reduction of BOD by ± 50%

Ü Reduction of suspended solids by ± 85%

Ü Reduction of hydrogen sulfide by ± 75%

Ü Increase DO by ± 600%

1- You can build a smaller sewage treatment plant

2- You can save ½ the energy used by the aeration basin

3- Sewage treatment plants which have become too small can increase capacity by 50%
