Desliming fish is important to maintain good quality and extend shelf-life.

Freebac Mucusol removes slime effectively, thereby preventing contamination and cross contamination. Tests demonstrate that desliming significantly reduces bacteria count, improves production hygiene and end product quality. Freebac Mucusol also prevents smell and  does not damage the product in any way

 

METHOD:

There are two methods in which Freebac Mucusol (FM) can be used:

 

RAPID METHOD (5 Minutes):

Dose 2 L FM in 100 L water. This will rapidly treat up to 1000 kg product in batches of 200  kg.

 

SLOW METHOD:

Dose 0.5 L FM in 300 L water. This will treat 700 kg product. Stand time minimum 2-3 hours - can also be left overnight.

Batch contains 500 kg fish. Treated with 2% Freebac Mucusol. A further 500 kg can still effectively be treated with his dosage. Desliming achieved in 5 minutes.
