Silver peroxide looses approval

Silver-peroxide no longer has approval under Regulation 31 (4) (a) of the water supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2000 No. 3185 section A.6 Disinfectants for emergency use as of 16 March 2009.

EEC REGULATIONS:

EEC directives concerning products containing silver have recently been severely tightened - no matter how much silver is present. As a result of this the following must appear on the label:

 

R Codes: 52/53

Risk phrases: Harmful to aquatic organisms. May cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.

 

S Codes: 61

Safety phrases: Avoid release to the environment. Refer to special instructions/safety data sheets.

FREEBAC NEWS

CROP PROTECTION TEST - (preliminary rapport):

 

Recently test where made in Turkey to examine the performance of Freebac against 3 major crop diseases:

- Powdery mildew

- Downy mildew

- Botrytis cinerea

 

The effect of Freebac against the aforementioned plant diseases were tested on: tomato, pepper  aubergine.

 

Results: Excellent in comparison to the traditional chemicals. Another big advantage is that FREEBAC contains no metals and breaks down fully into water and oxygen. This makes it a very green chemical and will help to reduce environment & soil pollution and provide a healthier food on our tables.
