FREEBAC has been used to some extent in Horticulture, where it has been trialled by various growers and horticulture research facilities Although the application is still in it’s infancy, the results so far have been beyond our expectations. Using FREEBAC in contact with different plants such as tomato, peppers, aubergine, etc...

NO METALS:

FREEBAC is very interesting biocide for horticultural purpuses as it contains no metals of any kind. All it’s ingredienst are food-safe and will break down inwater water, oxygen and safe minerals which can be readily absorbed by plants. & soil micro-organisms

WATER TREATMENT:

We have used FREEBAC in irrigation water at dosages of 20 - 50 ml/m3 to ensure low levels of micro-organisms. This is of vital importance to prevent spread of disease from irrigation water. In greenhouses it is used as control for Legionella due to health and safety regulations.

CROP PROTECTION:

Freebac was tested with great success against the following:

- Fusarium

- Powdery mildew

- Downy mildew

- Botrytis cinerea

- Phytophthora

PLANT GROWTH:

Visually, plants treated with FREEBAC seem healthier and grow faster with a better root development than plants not treated with Freebac.

FREEBAC is also perfectly suited for hydroponics.
